Product Description

This classic seminar provides detailed instruction on the fabrication and clinical application of a wide variety of splints including static, dynamic, and static progressive mobilization splints.

We will explore all aspects of splint fabrication including biomechanics, material selection, strapping and padding, pattern making, and material selection. Principles of dynamic, serial static, and static progressive splinting (both theory and application) are presented along with practical fabrication concepts. All custom splints discussed in the lectures are illustrated in the manual. Fabrication tips and techniques are described in detail in the manual for future reference. Participants will also have an opportunity to fabricate several splints of both static and dynamic designs in a fun, non-threatening, supervised setting. The comprehensive course manual contains over 30 life sized patterns which are available exclusively at this course! Use of these patterns insures immediate clinical success and significantly increases confidence! This course has successfully guided therapists on the “art and science of splinting” for over 20 years! Attendance is limited, and is only offered twice annually – REGISTER EARLY!
