I took the hands on tendon trauma seminar and it was excellent. Patricia was very thorough in her presentation of anatomy , wound healing, specific protocols for extensor or flexor tendon injuries. The instructional manual was very detailed eliminating much need to take notes. The manual includes splint patterns as well. I highly recommend this course if you treat tendon injuries. One of the best.
I recently attended the Hands-On Tendon Trauma flexor and extensor tendon injuries. This course was very informative and the material was great! The manual gave protocols for flexor and extensor tendon injuries and splints to use with each protocol. This course allowed the participants to make multiple splints as well. Overall this was a great course. I will definitely seek out Patricia’s other courses.
I recently attended the splinting workshop June 11-12 in Grass Valley. The class was thorough yet allowed time for each of the participants to ask questions. It has only been a week since I took the course but I have already applied the knowledge gained a handful of times and have referred back to the material given countless times. During the course we reviewed many scenarios and the information gained was immediately applicable the first day back at work. Patricia was great and I would definitely take another course of hers.

I took the introduction to hands course last year as a new graduate doing all of the hand work at our clinic. It was just what I needed to build up my confidence and my knowledge base. The materials are on my desk for quick reference. I really liked the shorter days, as sitting through a full day of classes can be be hard. Great course. Great instructor.
I took the Intro to Hands Course during school prior to my level 2 fieldwork placement. It was the perfect intro to fieldwork, helped build my confidence, and overall knowledge. Patricia is a wealth of knowledge that’s not to be missed out on.
I took Patricia’s class Hands-on-Tendon Trauma August 2016. It was a great combination of lecture, participation in discussion and splinting lab with a book of protocols for reference. She has a great base of knowledge. I plan and am looking forward to taking her class Focus on Splinting this October.
I took the Intro to Hands course this summer in Minneapolis and it was an excellent course to reinforce some knowledge that I had and excellent in that I learned a ton of new ideas to build my knowledge base for working in a hand clinic. Loved the hands on applications and ideas shared regarding g treatment approaches and patient directed activities and seeing a variety of splits made was great as well. I will definitely be looking at attending future courses offered in my area. Angie
The Hands On Tendon Trauma seminar was excellent. As a fairly new OT practicing hand therapy for 2 years, this course helped me to build confidence in my ability to work with patients with tendon injuries. Patricia is engaging, thorough, and offers tips and tricks from her extensive experience in hand therapy. The study manual is well organized and includes very detailed protocols for flexor/extensor tendon injuries, and numerous splint patterns. I look forward to attending anther seminar through Clinical Specialty Education. Thank you, Patricia!
I took Patricia’s “Hands on Tendon Course” last year. The information that she presented was very well organized and thorough. The quality of presentations, the information given, the practicals opportunity were priceless. Patricia is a superb presenter, a great expert in HT, and a wonderful person. Thank you for everything!
